AT&T Chairman Honored in New Mexico

AT&T CEO and Chairman Randall Stephenson visited New Mexico on March 23 to receive the 2019 National Award for Nuclear Science and History. The award was handed out at the annual Einstein Gala hosted by the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History. Congressman Ben Ray Lujan introduced Chairman Stephenson, who was selected for the award because of AT&T’s role as manager of Sandia Labs in its early days. AT&T marked the occasion by providing the museum $40,000 to expand its STEM education and outreach programs.
