Bob Digneo has recently been appointed AT&T’s Director of External Affairs for New Mexico, based in Albuquerque.
Bob is a Santa Fe native and graduate of New Mexico State University. He joined AT&T (then Southwestern Bell) in Houston, Texas, in the late 1970s in its corporate communications and advertising organization. He has held various positions at AT&T in corporate communications, government affairs, news media relations, and regulatory and legislative affairs – in Houston, St. Louis, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin. Prior to this new assignment in New Mexico, Bob was Assistant Vice President of External and Regulatory Affairs for AT&T in Texas.
Bob is a third-generation New Mexican whose Italian great-grandfather immigrated to Santa Fe as a stone mason in the late 1870s to take part in constructing the St. Francis Cathedral, among many other historic buildings in Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
